The Office of the Project Director Joint Services (PD JS) has an immediate need to fill a GS-12/13 Senior Program Analyst, two-year term position. PD JS is a fast-paced office responsible for ammunition industrial base management and policy, acquisition and modernization of the Army's Ammunition Plants, demilitarization (RDT&E and procurement) of all munitions for the Joint Services, RDTE 6.6 manufacturing technology programs, and for implementing the Single Manager of Conventional Ammunition (SMCA) responsibilities. This office is executing a robust, generational investment in the Army's munitions Industrial Base, including expanding artillery production capacity at multiple production locations, and modernizing Load, Assemble & Pack (LAP) operations, explosives and propellent production facilities, in addition to over 150 other acquisitions/projects within the portfolio, which totals over $2B in FY23 Direct Army Appropriated funds. This is an excellent opportunity for a program analyst to expand their skills in the PPBE process for multiple appropriations, to include Procurement of Ammunition, Army (PAA); Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E); and, Operations and Maintenance, Army (OMA).
Closing date is 15 May 2023.
