  • 1.  CPE class Resources?

For maintaining CDFM, what platforms do people use to take classes for CPE credit? I know there are conferences, webinars, etc., but are there any one-stop shops for CPE online courses? All I've seen so far is Becker, which is pretty expensive.

I'm struggling with the same thing with the additional frustration that very few offerings cover broad enough topics for those of us not currently working for DOD. My go to for the last several renewals have been the journal quizzes, but that doesn't get you very far so the ASMC items found online help fill the gaps. Don't make the same mistake I have in the past thinking a 3 day course will count only to realize the conversion to CEUs get you a fraction of the time spent of credit.

Have you looked into Management Concepts courses?

Here's the direct link to our FM courses, where you can see how many CPEs and CEUs (and other cert credits) a course is worth before you take it:

Also, here are links to two webinars you can watch on demand for credit:

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have other questions.

I recommend you look at the virtual PDIs.  Some are free and others are very economical for the cost per CPE.   If you are a member, sign in, then go to the left side of your member portal to find the Virtual PDIs.  The PDIs have Audit, Leadership (Team Building, Developing other, etc.), Fiscal Law, Budget, Decision Support, plenty to choose from.   Members can take some of 2020 PDI courses for free, yes I said Free from the member portal.  Another good source if you have a CAC,  is the DoD FM Online CET Resource Page has good recommendations, at one time there were free courses provided by Management Concepts.  Good Luck.
