The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time Financial Analyst (NH-0501-03) to work at Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) in the Air Force Test Center (AFTC) at Edwards AFB, in Edwards, California. This federal job offers a rewarding and exciting career with benefits.
In this position you will provide financial management services to all personnel, programs, and supported missions within the AFTC. Services include decision support, financial policy development, budget operations, cost analysis, and requires proficiency with resource management systems. In addition to normal operations as an analyst, this individual will be directly involved with potential automation efforts, integration of new systems, and will also take on more of a Program Element Manager (PEM) role within the Center.
This position has a typical 2021 salary range of $88,488 - $136,791 (includes locality).

Remote/Telework information:
• This position will have the potential to be geographically separated from AFTC proper (i.e., Remote & Telework). This will need to be discussed prior to final determination, and occasional TDYs will be required

Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Obtain & maintain Security clearance
- FM Certifications Level 2 within 24 months
- DAWIA Certification Level 2 within 24 months
- Participates in projects/initiatives and performs special assignments
- Identifies the need for special projects and initiates milestones and goals
- Evaluates reports by analyzing facts and performing appropriate research and prepares detailed responses
- Researches and determines or recommends appropriate actions or interpretation of issues that impact organization, installation, command, or agency
- Comprehensive knowledge of OMB, Congressional, and agency financial management and program objectives, precedents, and regulations
- Knowledge of structure, programs, and work methods of financial management organizations
- Experience and ability to communicate complex financial matters to senior leadership
- Skill in the analysis and resolution of complex problems
- Experience with Major Range and Test Facility Base (MRTFB) operations
- Communication and teamwork are critical components in the success of this position and organization; individual will need to be fully engaged with all of their counterparts at the supported sites
- Position Requires Acquisition Professional Development Program Certification Level II and Department of Defense FM Certification Level II within 24 months
