Hi Jeremy! Thanks for your question. Engage was not designed to take place <g class="gr_ gr_91 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Grammar multiReplace" id="91" data-gr-id="91">of</g> your chapter website. We know that several chapters still use their own websites to communicate public information - award nominations and sponsorship opportunities, for example. Does your chapter maintain a website outside of Sharepoint now? Many of our chapters have made strong use of social media in lieu of a public-facing website. If you do not have a site outside of your Sharepoint, I would suggest creating social media accounts for your Chapter to share information beyond your chapter members.
Additionally, ASMC will be developing chapter microsites for those chapters that do not have websites. We will begin development this year and are hoping to test them after PDI 2019. These microsites will be built off the Engage/Higher Logic platform but will be public-facing to allow Chapters to post information such as you have noted above.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email me and we can discuss it further!

Hello,
I wanted to ask a question to the greater ASMC community to see if other chapters are being effected. My understanding is 'Engage' took the place of the chapter websites which used to be available. The issue our chapter has is 'Engage' can only be accessed by ASMC members. We have a lot of information and things we would like to post and make available to those on base that may not be ASMC members. We have also used a 'Sharepoint' site to get around this, however 'Sharepoint' also has its limitations since you have to be a government employee to access 'Sharepoint'. Where we are most impacted is in the area of our chapter scholarship. We used to post information, applications, and other resources about the scholarship on the chapter website. Obviously high school students are not ASMC members or Government employees. So we are struggling with finding a central place to post chapter scholarship information that is available to non-ASMC members and non-government employees. Has anyone else experienced the same issue, if so have you come up with a good work around?
Thank you,
Jeremy Miller
