The ASMC Buckeye Chapter has an opportunity to support the Mid-Ohio Foodbank's Kroger Food Pantry. There are a lot of needs as we head into the holiday season. The Foodbank desperately needs volunteers to serve as Pantry Assistants for the period of November 27 – December 9, especially the evening shifts from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm.
Dates that are in need of volunteers include:
Monday, November 27 from 5:00 – 8:30 (21 Slots Available)
Wednesday, November 28 from 5:00 – 8:30 (7 Slots Available)
Monday, December 4 from 5:00 – 8:30 (9 Slots Available)
Tuesday, December 5 from 5:00 – 8:30 (10 Slots Available)
Wednesday, December 6 from 5:00 – 8:30 (22 Slots Available)
Thursday, December 7 from 5:00 – 8:30 (17 Slots Available)
Saturday, December 9 from 11:30 – 2:30 (14 Slots Available)
Please check your schedules and do what you can to sign up for one (or more) of the volunteer shifts that fits your schedule.
We will need at least five members to volunteer during this week to get us to the 20 hours needed for this event to count toward our community service goal. However, feel free to bring family members that are also looking for volunteer hours and/or enjoy giving back to our Central Ohio community.
If you do not already have a volunteer account on the Mid-Ohio Volunteer Hub, please establish an account on the Mid-Ohio Foodbank Volunteer Hub at https://mofb.volunteerhub.com/ and register to volunteer as a Pantry Assistant for the night(s) that work best for you.
Please let me know if you have any questions or need any help.
