Senior Manager / Director (Accounting)<o:p></o:p>
What We Are Looking For:<o:p></o:p>
We are looking for highly experienced professionals to provide key technical leadership within our Firm and with client executive leadership. Lynch Consultants (LC) is growing: we are staffing new contracts within the Department of Defense (DoD) and Health and Human Services (HHS). The roles require proven expertise in delivering high-level support, either conducting an audit or providing audit sustainment and remediation services for a US Federal Agency. These are crucial roles working directly with Firm executive leadership to be intimately involved helping to execute LC2030, the strategic direction and future of the Firm that will see us become a firm of 500 associates. <o:p></o:p>
Requirements:<o:p></o:p>
· US Citizenship (Required).<o:p></o:p>
· BA/BS Degree (Required).<o:p></o:p>
· Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure by the appropriate state licensing authority and be in good standing.<o:p></o:p>
· Eight (8) or more years' total experience<o:p></o:p>
· Five (5) or more years of federal government accounting or audit experience.<o:p></o:p>
· Five (5) or more years preparing or auditing financial statements and the accompanying footnotes.<o:p></o:p>
· Experience in conducting Risk Assessments and Internal Control reviews in accordance with the GAO Green Book, OMB Circular A-123, and DoD RMIC guidance.<o:p></o:p>
· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and written.<o:p></o:p>
· Experience reviewing complex financial and accounting transactions and extensive historical records relating to calculating general ledger balances, emphasizing investment accounting, and preparing journal entries utilizing the financial accounting system.<o:p></o:p>
· Experience managing or coordinating the activities of Accountants and/or Auditors, serving as a group leader or coordinator acting as liaison with clients.<o:p></o:p>
· Experience in providing financial transaction research and analysis activities, which may include the review of individual project work papers and all documentation necessary to<o:p></o:p>
· Must live in the greater Washington DC region: DC, MD, or VA. The position currently requires the team to work from the client site 2 days a week. The candidate must be available to meet the client and client leadership in person as requested.<o:p></o:p>
Preferred:<o:p></o:p>
· CDFM and/or CGFM certification.<o:p></o:p>
· Master's degree in accounting, business, finance, or related field.<o:p></o:p>
· Experience with federal PP&E issues.<o:p></o:p>
· Experience in the use of federal financial accounting systems.<o:p></o:p>
