    Good Morning, Fellow Professionals!

     

    I trust that everyone is having a spectacular Closeout!

     

    As you all know, we did not receive enough nominees to elect a new Board this May.

    As a result, we starting the dissolution process. Mr. Al Runnels of ASMC'S corporate office reached out to us and requested that we keep the Chapter active. With that being said, we're calling for Nominations for the 2019-2020 Central Texas ASMC Board.

    Please provide nominations to me directly no later than Monday, 28 Nov 2019.

    Board Member induction will occur at our next meeting scheduled for Thursday, 7Nov2019 @ 1130am (attached).

     

    All positions will be up for nominations and are listed below with positions descriptions:

    1. The President shall preside over and officiate all Chapter and Executive Council meetings, and appoint such Standing and Special Committees as may be required. In the execution of the Powers of office, the President shall enforce the Constitution, By-laws, contracts, policies, and directives of the ASMC and the Chapter. The President, as personally deemed appropriate, may assign duties and/or responsibilities to various Chapter officers and committees.

     

    1. The 1st Vice President (VP Membership) shall assume the duties of the President during any period of absence. In addition, this individual shall chair the Standing Membership and Attendance Committee.

     

    1. The Executive Vice President shall chair the Standing Program Committee and assume the duties of President during the absence of the President and 1st Vice President.

     

    1. The Treasurer shall receive and deposit all monies, pay bills, maintain bookkeeping, and make appropriate reports.

     

    1. The Secretary shall record the proceedings of Chapter meetings and Executive Council meetings.

     

    I truly hope everyone will seriously consider serving as a Board member. We have the capability of making this Chapter great but we cannot do so without You -- the Members. Let's continue to learn, develop, and mentor one another because We are the future of FM!
