  • 1.  What are you doing to stay motivated?

Motivation is defined as: "The process that initiates, guides, and maintains goal-oriented behaviors; frequently used to describe why a person does something. It is the driving force behind human actions" (Know more. Live brighter.). I know one of the things I've struggled with during the pandemic, and I'm sure many others have struggled with as well, is how I can stay motivated to deliver results. I think there's a greater feeling of being overwhelmed that is permeating society, especially with the creation of the 24-hour news cycle. This can lead to mental strain and feelings of hopelessness.

So, what are you doing to stay motivated? Please share tips to build up our mental fortitude and any resources that have helped you deliver on our mission.

Great question Abby. I find accepting change is a big factor in my outlook and motivation. We face setbacks in our personal and work lives. A simple way to stay on track is to be objective in understanding what the changes mean and how they affect your outlook. Maybe see yourself from a higher perspective or a further distance than what you're feeling internally. Once you come to terms with and accept the change it's easier to see your goals and values in place. It becomes easier to get back on track mentally, to continue your journey to to accomplish them, and staying motivated.
