    Good Morning all -

The Summer issue of the Armed Forces Comptroller is online and in the mail!

The editorial board is currently seeking ideas for themes for the 2020 issues and we'd love your help. Please submit your ideas for upcoming themes to me via email or by replying to this post!

As always, previous issues of the journal can be found here.

    Happy reading!

Recommend the following topic for FY20:

    Active Underwriting Fiscal Stewardship
Changing DOD's culture by reversing 'marks' and incentivizing leaders
who actively manage fiscal capability by declaring and returning
excess -- when phase/spend plans change due to 'readiness' atmospheric

    Hi Everyone!

My name is Vicky Pryor. I am new to the ASMC community. I joined to network and learn more about different topics. I'm currently an Enforcement Supervisor with the EEOC. I'm especially interested in Labor and Employment topics. I joined the DFAS Cleveland group.  I'm undecided as to whether I  should complete the DoD Financial Management Certification Level I. I have 3 children.

What about an article completely devoted to Financial Management (FM) training?  You could have articles on, for example:
    1) The latest on DoD FM Certification
    2)  Military-friendly/Military-program colleges and universities (like Syracuse University)
    3)  New training modes (virtual, blended, etc.)
    4)  DoD schools (Naval Postgraduate School, National Defense University, Ira C. Eaker School at Maxwell AFB)
    5)  Training-based (testing-based) certifications such as CDFM and CGFM
